When we talk about motocross fanatics, Arjan Brouwer is definitely one of them. As a boy he already saw Pierre as his hero, and later they would fight shoulder to shoulder in the 4-stroke races to be the first to get through the curve.

They also rode Paris-Dakar several times in the same year, the toughest motorcycle rally of all time, especially in the early years. After our earlier conversation with Willy, Arjan’s story proved that again; he once found himself in a life-threatening situation in the desert just like Pierre. Fortunately that ended well and we were able to capture his experiences against the backdrop of his personal museum in his motorcycle store in Putten, where he has an impressive collection of motorcycles and attributes from his career.
